LODI, Aug. 27--Orra S. Adams, 72, of 727 W. Lockeford, area rancher and businessman, died in his home yesterday following a heart attack. He was born in Nebraska, and lived in California 35 years, farming in the Lockeford area until 1948, when he became a salesman with the Spiekerman Concrete Pipe Co. here. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. Mr. Adams was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Woodbridge Masonic Lodge, Lodi High Twelve Club, Lodi chapter of Eastern Star, and the East-West Whist Club.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; sons, Dr. O.R. Adams of Ft. Collins, Colo., Capt. Richard Adams of the U.S. Air Force in Germany, and Willis K. Dick of Lodi; a daughter, Mrs. Aurelea Cronn of Mountain Home, Ida.; two brothers and three sisters, and 10 grandchildren.
