MANTENO - Cecile Lanoue, 75, of Manteno, died Saturday, December 31, 1994 at Momence Meadows Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, with a wake service at 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Manteno.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manteno by the Rev. Henry Wilkening.
Burial will be in Momence Catholic Cemetery.
Cecile was born February 27, 1919 in Kankakee, the daughter of Joseph and Celanise Lambert Benoit.
Surviving are her husband, Lionel Lanoue of Manteno; two daughters and one son-in-law, Janet Rust of Burke, Virginia and Sandy and Merwin Laney of Manteno; one son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Patsy Lanoue of Manteno; five stepdaughters; one stepson; nine grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Benoit of Rensselaer, Indiana, Ray Benoit of Chebanse and Lambert Benoit of Stonyford, California; three sisters, Dorothy Hebert of Elkhart, Indiana, Madonna Grasser of Bouronnais and Loretta Owens of Bradley.
Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Manteno, and its St. Anne Sodality.
