Young Mother of Seven Passes Away at St. Anne


Mrs. Brunette Lanoue, 38, wife of Lionel Lanoue of St. Anne and mother of seven children, succumbed at St. Mary hospital at 2 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Church in Momence with interment in the church cemetery.


Surviving besides the husband are the following sons and daughters; Mary Mae, Eileen, Cecile, Carol Ann, Judy, Francis and Elmer. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Celanise Benoit of Kankakee and sisters, Mrs. Clarence Owens of Bourbonnais, Mrs. Alfred Hebert of Elkhart, Ind., Mrs. Geo. Hatting, Mrs. Cecile Wynne and Mrs. Madonna Benoit, all of Kankakee; brothers, Albert and Eugene of Bourbonnais, Delores of Edwardsport, Ind., Raymond J of Kankakee, Robert of Rennselaer, Ind., and Petty Officer First Class Lambert of the Navy in the South Pacific.


Mrs. Lanoue was born Aug. 29, 1907 and resided in this county all her life.
