noon in Clifton-Fine
Hospital, Star Lake, where
he had been a patient for a
day.
The funeral will be
Thursday at 1 p.m. at
Green Funeral Home, Hermon,
with Rev. Charles
Starr, pastor, Hermon United
Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in
Hermon Cemetery.
Calling hours at the fu-
neral home are tonight
and Wednesday after-
noon and evening.
Surviving are his wife,
Lorna; seven daughters,
Mrs. Lyndon (Mary) Cook,
Cazenovia, Mrs. Richard
(Anna) Coffey. Pyrites,
Mrs. Richard (Sally) Cutway,
DeKalb, Mrs. Herbert
(Ruth) Fuller, Hailesboro.
Mrs. Dennis (Fern) Smith,
Gouverneur, Mrs. Erich
(Roxy) Zuhlsdorf, Oswegatchie,
and Vicki, at
home; six sons, Jack, Oswegatchie,
Jerry, West
Potsdam, Robert, Pyrites,
Arthur, Auburn, Leo, Hermon,
and Ernest, Ottumwa,
Iowa; 37- grandchildren,
two great-grandchildren,
four sisters, Mrs. Percy
(Virgie) Hall, Gouverneur,
Mrs. Mabel McRobbie,
Hermon, Mrs. Charles
(Mildred) Levielle. Framingham,
Mass., and Mrs.
Emory (Hildred) Bush.
Waddington; and two
brothers, Harold, Edwards,
and Charles, Hermon.
Born at Russell April 7.
1908. son of Fred and Mary
Thurston Gotham, he attended
Russell area
schools. His first marriage
to Susie Luther ended in divorce
and he later married
Lorna Hagerman.
Mr. Gotham worked as a
mill operator for Jones &
Laughlin Steel Corp. for
years.
He was a member of the
Canton Sportman's Club,
Grasse River CB Radio
Club and the Gouverneur
and Newton Falls Rod and
Gun Clubs.
