Mrs Susie Gotham, 68, of
Hermon, died Monday evening,
June 19, at the E.J Noble
Hospital. Canton.
Funeral services will be held at
1 p.m Thursday, at the Green
Funeral Home, Hermon. Rev.
Joseph F Barber, pastor of the
First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Hermon
Cemetary. Friends may call at
the funeral home this afternoon
and evening.
Bom July 9, 1911. daughter of
Anna and John Luther of
Harnsville. Mrs. Gotham was
married to Douglas Gotham. The
marriage ended in divorce. She
had lived most of her life in
Hermon.
Survivors include two
daughters. Mrs. Richard (Anna)
Coffey, Pyrites, Mrs. Lindon
(Mary) Cook of Cazenovia; five
sons. Jack and Jerrie,
Oswegatchie; Robert, DeKalb
Junction; Arthur, Wheatsport,
and Leo, of Hermon; two sisters,
Mrs. George (Mildred)
Lawrence. Lisbon; Mrs. Roland
(Alice) Hoppe, Water town, two
brothers, Allan Luther, West
4 Potsdam and Dallas Luther,
Lyons; two half-brothers, Arthur
Carr, Hermon, and Kenneth
Carr, Watertown; a step-father,
Walter Ryan, Watertown. 26
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren
