Parents: Arsenio "Sam" and Philomenia "Thelma" Capuana Ippolito Frank.
Husband: Angelo Laita. He died June 21, 1968.
This is my Great-Aunt Julia. I have a lot of fond memories about visiting her every Sunday when I was young. She was a homemaker. She had a sweet and loving way about her. She always made me feel at home when I visited her. She would offer me some of her delicious Italian cookies and I remember devouring many at one sitting. She would give me gifts of lace handkerchiefs and took me to eat at the local "5 and 10 cent" store. She was an avid gardener. She would toil many hours in the hot sun to render a beautiful crop of vegetables every year. She was a member of the Jameson Hospital Ladies Guild, the Sons of Italy and St. Vitus Church. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Relatives: a daughter, Thelma Prandini of Washington, Pa.; a brother, Louis Frank of New Castle; two grandchildren, Janet and Debbie; three great-grandchildren, Tina, Tony and Allison; a great-great-grandson, Garrett; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Cugini; four brothers, Andy Frank, Tony Frank, Sam Frank and Joe Frank; and five sisters, Nellie Jetto, Antonia Carbone, Mary Taylor, Rose Bloise and Elizabeth Marmo.
Visitation is 3 to 6 p.m. tomorrow at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.A procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Saturday for St. Vitus Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon. The Rev.
