Parents: Arsenio Ippolito Frank and Filomena Thelma Capuano Ippolito Frank.

Husband: John Carbone, 1899-1976.

Antonia was raised on a farm in New Castle, PA and she loved animals of all kinds. She especially enjoyed horses, as evidenced by several photos in the family album. In 1925 she married John Carbone. They owned a tire store. When they sold the store, John went to work for the Johnson Bronze Company. Antonia went to work for the Shenango China Company. Shenango China supplied the china for many fine restaurants and for the President of the USA. Antonia worked at Shenango for over 50 years. She was an inspector of the finished china products. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, and watching the "soaps" on daytime TV. She always planted a vegetable garden every spring. She made her own pizza and it was very spicy! She was an active member of Saint Camillus Catholic Church. In her later years, Antonia kept herself busy by taking care of her two Shih-Tzu dogs: Benji and Brandy. She never had any children, the dogs were her children. Antonia was my Godmother and my Great-Aunt. John was my Godfather and my Great-Uncle.

Her family's last name was changed from Ippolito to Frank, after they moved to New Castle, PA. Her brothers: Andrew Frank, Joseph Frank, Tony Frank, Louis Frank and Sam Frank. Her sisters: Rose Bloise, Elizabeth Marmo, Angeline "Julia" Laita, Mary Taylor and Nellie Jetto.
