Mrs. Ross was born in Oil City on June 21, 1913, a daughter of Lawrence and Pearl Confer Goodman. She was the widow of William Ross, who died April 29, 1989. They were married Aug. 15, 1928, in Olean, NY
Mrs. Ross was a resident of the area most of her life. She was a member of ithe Queen Esther Rebekah Lodge for more than 50 years and a member of the Custer City United Methodist Church for more than 50 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Maxine (Gail) Reninger of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Janice (William) Paulik of Bradford; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Marian Flanders of Rew, Ruby Salada of Custer City and Dorothy Swiger of Ashtabula, Ohio; one brother, Larry Goodman of Lecanto, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Burdell Goodman; and three sisters, Lois Skinner, Berry Finnerty and Geraldine Holden.
Friends are invited to call Friday at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street, from noon to 1 p.m. at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Eugene Lattin of the Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
In lieu of flowers, memorials if desited may be made to the Custer City United Methodist Church, Box 125, Custer City, Pa, 16725.
