Mr. Bean was born in Hickory Township, Forest County, on Sept. 27, 1904, the son of John and Paulina Kiffer Bean. He was a resident of Endeavor before moving to Pittsfield Township 16 years ago. For the last eight years he had been employed as a truck driver for the Youngsville GLF Cooperative.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Fiscus Bean and the following children: Mrs. Jacqueline Carlson of Jamestown, N.Y.; Alvin Bean of Spring Creek, RD I; Mrs. Janet Barnes of Pittsfield, RD 1; Clarice, Paul, Bruce, Dallas, John, Denna, Debra, Jeffrey, Dayle, Doyle and Pamela, at home; 10 grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Lester Fye of San Leandro, Calif.; Mrs. Thomas Knight of Shippenville; Mrs. Carl Rodgers of Seneca; Mrs.Livingston Merkle of Warren; Mrs. Carl Sargent, Clifford Bean and Aaron Bean of Tionesta and Seldon Bean of Pleasantville.
Three brothers, Ellis Bean, Everil Bean and Clyde Bean, died previously.
The funeral service will be held in Youngsville at 2 p. m. Wednesday with Rev. Harold G. Powell, pastor of the First Church of God in Warren, officiating.

The Rev. Harold G. Powell, pastor of First Church of God in Warren officiated at 2 pm Wednesday in Youngsville for the funeral of Clemmer Bean of Garland. The county man died in Warren General Hospital Jan. 25, 1965.
Serving as bearers for burial in Warren County Memorial Park in Starbrick were Morley, Maurice, Rex and Leo Bean, Ronald Engle and Allen Fiscus.
