Paul T. Bean, 65, of Rte. 27, Pittsfield, Pa died on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at his home unexpectedly. He was born in Oil City, Pa on July 13,1943, son of the late Clemmer and Ruth Fiscus Bean. Mr. Bean was raised and educated in the Garland and Youngsville area and attended Youngsville High School. Following high school, he worked at various places in Warren, including, PDM ( Pittsburgh Des Moines) Steel, Pennco and Deluxe Metal. He then served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He had been working for over 25 years at Associated Spring Barnes Group in Corry, Pa, starting with the company in 1983. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed working on antique trucks and painting vehicles. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a father-in-law, James A. Black; a sister, Clarice Conklin; a brother, Alvin Bean; and a granddaughter, Alexandria Redick. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Black Bean, whom he married in Warren, Pa on December 27, 1968. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Charlotte Black, Corry, PA; two daughters, Paula Confer and her husband, Andrew " Boomer" and Jolene Romanosky and her husband, Mike, all of Pittsfield, Pa; a sister, Deanna Gern and her husband, Charles, of Clarendon, Pa; and four brothers, Bruce Bean and his wife, Toni of Spring Creek, Pa, John Bean and his wife, Nancy of Pittsfield, Pa, Dayle Bean and Doyle Bean, both of Pittsfield, Pa. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Samantha, Devon, Merrik and Vanessa; and many nieces and nephews.
