SELDON T BEAN BEAN Seldon T Bean 83 of 320 Bank St died at am Thursday June 5 1986 in Titusville Hospital. He had been a patient there for the past four weeks. Mr Bean was born at Kiffer Hill Forest County on Sept 28 1902, a son of the late John and Paulina Bean. He was married to the former Erma A Littlefield on Feb 29, 1924 at Tionesta. Mrs Bean died on May 10. Mr Bean was formerly employed by Wheeler and Duesenberry Lumber Co and later worked for Fisher and Young Lumber Company as a trimmer. He was employed by Fisher and Young for 30 years retiring in 1969. He attended Pleasantville Free Methodist Church. He was a member of Pine Creek Club. He had also been active in the Boy Scout program. Mr Bean was an avid hunter fisherman and gardener. Survivors include two daughters Mrs William Anna McCandless of Titusville and Mrs Rudolph Grace LoRusso of Erie three sons Mendall B Bean of Pleasantville Lester E Bean of and Gail L Bean of Titusville RD, 20 grand children 13 greatgrandchildren and a sister Mrs Donna Knight of Shippenville. In addition to his wife Mr Bean was preceded in death by a son Serrill Bean in 1930 three grand children six brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and attend the funeral service there on Monday at 11 am with Rev Martin Dunlap pastor of the Pleasantville Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery Pleasantville.
