Mrs. Alice Malinda Stoneking, 81, wife of Forney Stoneking of Garards Fort, died following a short illness at 10:15 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 15, 1950, in the Moniger Nursing Home at Bristoria.

A daughter of the late Cyrennus and Mary Ann Pride Haines, Mrs. Stoneking was born near Mt. Morris on Aug. 15, 1869. She resided most of her life in Garards Fort and was a member of the Garards Fort Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Orris Stoneking of Garards Fort; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Morris of Garards Fort; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Dr. Dempsey D. Haines of Charleroi.

A son, Playford, was killed in World War I. Five brothers, Charles, Burton, George, Lewis, William and John, also are deceased.
