Gertrude S. Morris, 90, of Thompson Gardens, Waynesburg, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, July 10, 1989, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W. Va.
She was born September 13, 1898 in Dunkard Township, a daughter of C. F. and Alice M. Haines Stoneking.
She was married June 16, 1928, to Eldred O. Morris, who died April 24, 1982.
A former resident of Garards Fort, she had lived in Waynesburg since 1960. She was a charter member of the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church at Garards Fort.
Surviving are five daughters, three sons, 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, J. Orris Stoneking and G. Playford Stoneking, and a grandson.
