Fancy Farm, Ky.--Services for Thomas Charles Carrico, 86, of Fancy Farm will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jerome Catholic Church, where he was a member. The Revs. Delma Clemons and Tony Jones will officiate. Burial will be in St. Jerome Cemetery.

Mr. Carrico died at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday at Green Acres Health Care in Mayfield.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a retired construction worker for Westvaco. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1418 and a former member of Laborers' International Union of North America Local 1214.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Anna Ophelia Cash Carrico; one son, John Carrico of Paducah; two daughters, Karen Willett of Fancy Farm and Janet Thomason of Mayfield; two brothers, Albert Carrico of Russellville and Rudolph Carrico of Cincinnati; two sisters, Mary Willett of Jackson, Tenn., and Allie Jean Elliott of Fancy Farm; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Carrico; one infant son, Charles Douglas Carrico; and one brother. His parents were Bernard and Gertrude Elliott Carrico.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home of Mayfield, where prayers will be
said at 7.
