Dies At Home
Fancy Farm, Ky., June 15 -- Bernard H. Carrico, 76, well-known retired grocer of Fancy Farm, died unexpectedly at 10 p.m. Monday at his home.
He owned and operated a grocery buiness here 51 years before his retirement.
Mr. Carrico is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jean Nichols of Fancy Farm and Mrs. Mary Willett of Carbondale, Ill.; four sons, James Carrico of Paducah, Rudolph Carrico of Cincinnati, Ohio, Albert Carrico of Russellville and Charles Carrico of Fancy Farm; three brothers, George, Joseph and Paul Carrico, all of Fancy Farm; five sisters, Mrs. Eunice Englert of Fancy Farm, Sister Teresine and Sister William, both of Louisville, Mrs. Katie Thomas of Fancy Farm and Mrs. Nettie Hayden of Mayfield; 19 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Jerome Catholic church with the Rev. Charles DeNardi officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Home in Mayfield.
