FANCY FARM, Ky. -- Katie Thomas, 93, of Fancy Farm, died at 6 p.m. Sunday at Community Hospital.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.
Surviving are two sons, Bob Thomas and Leo Thomas, both of Fancy Farm; five daughters, Aline Courtney of Mayfield, Teresine Thompson of Bardwell, Margaret Thomas and Mary Willie Thomas, both of Fancy Farm, and Annette Woods of Louisville; one sister, Sister William Carrico of Louisville; 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Connie L. Thomas; one son, Bernard A. Thomas; one daughter, Frances Ann Thomas; six brothers and three sisters. Her parents were William and Allie Cash Carrico.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jerome Catholic Church. The Rev. Ray Goetz will officiate and burial will be in St. Jerome Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today.
