CHETERTON - Services for Wallace C. Ahrendt, 61, RFD 3 Chesterton, who died unexpectedly at 7 p.m. Saturday in Porter Memorial hospital will be held Tuesday at Augsburg Lutheran church, Porter, with the Rev. Lawrence Swanson officiating. Burial wll be in Burstrom cemetery.
Born July 10, 1904, in Baillytown, he was the son of Fred W. and Anna (Johnson) Ahrendt.
He was preceded in death by his wife Martha.
Surviving is one son, Theodore; three brothers, William J., Louis T. and Edgar C. all of Chesterton.
He was a member of Augsburg church, Boy Scout troop leader and former member of Lions club. Cole Funeral home is in charge.
