An 84- year-old Marmet woman died yesterday in a Spencer hospital after a long illness.
She was Mrs Elizabeth Gabbard, a member of the Hershaw Baptist Church.Was born in Breathitt County Kentucky to Micheal Gabbard Jr and Elizabeth Cundiff. Descendents of Revotutionary War Veterans and early Kentucky Pioneers.
Surviving are four daughters. Mrs Lillian Napier and Mrs Minerva Little of Marmet, Mrs Mollie Lawson of Detroit and Mrs Maude Stacey of Balleyville, Ky; a son John of Missouri, 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held tommorrow at 2 p.m. in Lick Creek Baptist Church at Rumble by the Rev Frank Legg.
The body is at the leonard Johnson Funeral Home at Marmet.
