"Amy Wiseman, 85, former owner and operator of an apparel shop in Hopkins, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday at the Nodaway Nursing Home, where she had been since August, 1974.
She was born September 4, 1890, in Page County, Iowa, the daughter of the late Paul and Marietta Norton Laipple. Mrs. Wiseman was a member of the Hopkins First Christian Church, the Hopkins Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Glen Ulmer American Legion Auxiliary. She was graduated from the Hopkins High School . She was married February 11, 1958 to Ray Wiseman, who died January 2, 1966.
Surviving is a nephew, Richard Laipple, Garden Grove, Calif.; a niece, Mrs. Al (Paula Jean) Wisser, Torrance, Calif.; and cousins.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hopkins First Christian Church with the Rev. Carl Hoff, officiating. Burial will be in the Hopkins Cemetery. The body is at the Swanson Funeral Home, Hopkins."
