Miss Edra Laipple
Miss Edra Laipple, who was brought home last Friday from Des Moines, after suffering a nervous breakdown, passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Laipple, Tuesday afternoon without having regained consciousness, the doctors pronouncing encephalitis, a brain disease, as the cause of her death. She was working in a millinery store in Des Moines and about a month ago, had an attack of German measles and the fact that she resumed work before she was really able to do so, may have brought on the attack that proved fatal. Funeral services were held at the Christian church this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30, conducted by her pastor, Rev. B. H. Harmon, and burial was made in the Hopkins cemetery. --- Hopkins Journal
Obituary will be published next week.
