Dies at Age 85
Mrs. Marietta Laipple, age 85, resident of Hopkins for 48 years, died suddenly at noon Saturday at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Christian church in Hopkins of which she was a member. The services will be conducted by the Rev. C.A. Abbott, of Blockton, Ia., formerly pastor of the Hopkins church, and burial will be in the Hopkins cemetery.
Mrs. Laipple is survived by her daughter, Miss Amy Laipple of the home, and three grandchildren living in California. Her husband, Paul Laipple, died in 1944.
