BUENA VISTA- William Henry Clark, 94, died in a Staunton Hospital Tuesday night, Nov. 27, 1956. He was born in Rockbridge County Feb. 6 1862.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Preston Clark, April 21, 1938, infant daughter Lee Clark, 1 year old daughter Ella Clark, and a daughter Mazer Lee Clark.
Surviving are four sons, Milton Henry Clark, Amherst County; Jacob Yost Clark, Ogden, Utah; Daniel McKinley Clark, New Castle, Pa., Lilburn Downey Clark, Covington; three daughters, Miss Rebecca Clark, Lexington; Mrs. Beatrice Clark, Fairfield; and Mrs. Vernie Ramsey, Waynesboro, 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Amole Funeral Home with burial in Clark's Cemetery.
