Luther Jackson Clark, age 74, died Saturday at his home near Lexington. He was the son of William A. Clark and Margaret Tyree Clark, both of Rockbridge County.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Robertson (Mason) Clark on July 16, 1938.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred C. Clark May 16, 1905 and James E. Clark.
He is survived by a brother, William Henry Clark of Rockbridge County and the following children: Nannie Clark, East Lexington, Mrs. Retta Clark, Vesuvius, Mrs. Margaret Tyree, Waynesboro, Mrs. Virgie Dale and Mrs. Martha Clark both of near Lexington.
Funeral services were conducted from the Irish Creek Presbyterian church at 3:00 p.m. on Monday by Rev. Woody with burial in Pleasant View cemetery.
