MRS. LUCY SPANGLER, wife of John B. Spangler, Seven Valleys R.D. 1, died at her home after an lingering illness.
Mrs. Spangler was a fine Christian wife and mother, whose family in death as in life, rise up and call her blessed. How sorry we are that she could not remain longer. However God saw fit to call her away at the age of 48 years.
She is survived by her husband John, a son, Russell E. Spangler, and two daughters, Romaine and Grace Spangler, both at home. Also her father, Adam R. Miller, two brothers, Paul and Earl Miller, and three sisters, Hattie Greenplate, Mrs. William Kessler and Mrs. Charles Geisler survive.
The service was held at the home, with a concluding service in Zion (Shaffer's) Church March 25th in charge of her pastor Paul D. Yoder, D.D. A large congregation gathered in her memory. Burial was made in the Zion Cemetery. Your pastor assisted at this service.
