Erma Ellen Heap 99, of Freedom Wyoming died on May 15, 2000 at St. John's Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services were held on Friday May 19,2000.
Erma was born February 25, 1907 to Eugene Nelson and Christina Hoganson Nelson. She had three brothers and six sisters.
Erma was a hard worker all of her life and lived very modestly. She would rather give her children and grandchildren than to keep for herself. she was generous and loving to all.
She was a member of the LDS Chruch and had a strong testimony.
Erma was first married to Wesley Hull and they had two children Bill and Nadine. They were divorced in January of 1941.
Erma then worked in Afton managing the Pilot Cafe. At this time she met a young farmer Dellis Heap and they were married on October 3, 1942. Dellis and Erma had three children from this union. Dellis preceded Erma in death.
Erma is survived by five children; Bill Hull of Springfield MO. Nadine strong of Spokane WA, Barbara Hoopes of Afton, Eugene Heap of Freedom and Janice Mackey of Security, CO; sisters Edris Hanson, Afton, Cowan Doreen Haycock and Vaudia Temple, She had 19 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
