Sophronia's obituary read: "Sophronia E. Wright, 94, 1502 13th Street, Lawrenceville, died at 8:45 A.M. today at Crawford Memorial Hospital. Born November 17, 1888 in Crawford County, daughter of Finley and Laura Belle Martin Spencer, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Owen Lester Goff and Clarence Wright. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, Lovia P. Goff, Hudson, Florida; one daughter, Ethel Smith, Lawrenceville; one brother, George Spencer, Mattoon; one sister, Bessie Hubbell, Charleston; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services are pending at Emmons-Macey Funeral Home, Lawrenceville." - Oblong Oracle, Oblong, IL
