Ross W. Reeves, who was born in this county on August 20, 1886, died on October 1, 1947, at his late residence.
On September 27, 1912, he was united in marriage to Miss Floy Townsend and to this union eleven children were born, seven of whom survive, 3 sons and 4 daughters. Also three brothers, two sisters and 17 grandchildren are among the survivors.
Mr. Reeves was visiting a daughter here when he became seriously ill and passed away suddenly.
Services were held at the residence near Salem by Rev. John W. Bland with interment in New Garden Cemetery, Rainey of Ardmore in charge.
