Rites for Mrs. Bettie Elizabeth Powers, 94, Athens, who died Saturday, will be today at 2 p.m. from the Madison Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Athens Roselawn Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Pearl LeMay, Mrs. Kimzy Carr, and Mrs. W. C. Burns; one step-daughter, Mrs. Gaston Collier of Trinity; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Peek, Athens, and Mrs. Margaret Madry, Cross Key; and other relatives.
