Joan Carole (Aldrich) Hollander-Smith- Harrison-Lawson, 89, of Edgewood, New Mexico, passed away on June 29, 2022, at home peacefully. Joan was born on May 26, 1933, in San Francisco, California, to Bessie Leona (Brady) and Edward Monroe Aldrich, Sr.
Joan was married several times including to: Robert Larence Hollander, Jr. (m. 1951), Neal Smith (m. 1964), John H Harrison (m. 1996), and Marvin Jaudon "Don" Lawson Jr. (m. 2001).
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie Leona (Brady) and Edward Monroe Aldrich, Sr.; husband, Marvin Jaudon "Don" Lawson Jr.; her sons, Allan Edward Hollander-Smith in 2005, and Carey William Hollander-Smith in 2012; and her former husbands, Robert Larence Hollander, Jr. and Neal Smith.
She is survived by her five children: Rebecca Colleen (Hollander) Goodnight, Glenn Louis Hollander, Brian Wayne Hollander, Eileen S. Hollander, and Wayne Mathew Smith; her 12 grandchildren; and her two sisters, Louise, and Judy.
