Born to Edward Monroe Aldrich, Sr. (1893-1990) and Bertha Maude Jenkins (1895-1976). He had 2 sisters, C. Bernice Small (1913-2010); Marion Mount (1916-1995) and 3 half-sisters, Joan , Louise and Judy.
He married Rose Mary Brady in 1937 and was the father of 4 children. Rosemary C. Hartman, Redding, CA ; Jo Anne Ingerson, Petaluma, CA; Russell "Mike" Aldrich, Petaluma, CA; and Lee A. Aldrich, Redding, CA.
Ed grew up in Oregon and moved to Calif. as a young adult. He worked for the Bureau of Land Management and after retiring worked a gold mine in the Trinity Alps out of Weaverville, CA.
Ed moved to Red Bluff, CA where he lived out his later days.
