Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel, the Rev. Alayne Aliso officiating followed by private interment, for Edward M. Aldrich, 96 of Shingle Springs, who died April 20 in Placerville.
He was born July 22, 1893 in Bridgewater, Pa., and lived in El Dorado County for 7 years.
He was a carpenter for 70 years.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie, son Edward Aldrich, Jr. of Red Bluff, daughters Judy Zabokrtsky of Cameron Park, Joan C. Smith of Yuba City, Louise Lampson of Albion, Bernice Small of El Cerrito, Marion Mount of Roseville, 27 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
