Andrew Hale, brother of Rev. Albert Hale, was born 25 Jan 1798, born Glastonbury, CT. Married at Glastonbury, 26 May 1825 to Prudence Simmons. (She died 1842 in Glastonbury.) Five children - Lucy Cynthia (Hale) Hills, Andrew L., Emily Amelia, Martha Ann, and Joseph Wilcox Hale.
In the 1860 census, an Andrew Hale, age 62, born CT, was living in the Springfield, Ill household of Rev. Albert Hale.
