Mr. Harvey was a native of Baker County and was long a leading figure in politics of the county - his support in years past was much sought after and his advocacy of a candidate or issue was a good indication of winning. The writer has lost a good friend in the death of Mr. Harvey who we have known and admired for many years and have often sought his advice on public and personal matters, He will be missed by a large number of friends and a host of relatives.
