Buford Harvey, 85, of Sanderson, passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2001. Mr. Harvey was a native and life long resident of Sanderson. He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Temple of Macclenny, and a member of the Master Mates and Pilots Union Local #8, of Jacksonville. He was the son of the late, Ander and Lula Harvey. He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma. Survivors include his sons, Bobbie Harvey of Jacksonville, and Tommy (Marylynn) Harvey of Baxter, GA; daughter, Marian (Louie) Martin of Jacksonville; God children, Bonnie Rhoden and Carroll Bullard both of Jacksonville; special friend, Geneva Williams of Sanderson; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 11AM in the Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, with Rev. Leslie Thomas and Rev. David Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Sanderson. The family will receive friends on Friday (today) from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Fraser Funeral, 712 S 6th St.. Macclenny.
