Andrew J. Mr. Harvey was a native of Baker County and was long a leading figure in politics of the county - his support in years past was much sought after and his advocacy of a candidate or issue was a good indication of winning. He was outspoken in his views and when he was for you he could be counted on to go the limit. Mr. Harvey served 3 terms as county tax assessor and several terms as county commissioner from his district. The writer has lost a good friend in the death of Mr. Harvey who we have known and admired for many years and have often sought his advice on public and personal matters, He will be missed by a large number of friends and a host of relatives. In fact, Mr. Harvey possibly had the largest family in this section of the State.
