Brenda Kay Lee, 73, of Manitou, KY passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her home.
She was born on October 13, 1947 in Madisonville, KY to the late Ada Stroud Parkest and Celester Parkest. Brenda was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee; brothers, Wayne Parkest, Ronnie Parkest, and Kenny Parkest; and sister, Nora Lee.
Survivors include her daughters, Vickie Mullennix of Manitou and Jennifer (Randy) Medrano of Owensboro, KY; son, Thomas (Kathy) Lee of Smiths Grove, KY; brother, Donnie Parkest of Madisonville; sister, Betty (Gene) Rickard of Hanson, KY; grandsons, Dylan Mullennix, Tyler Hibbs, and John Lee; granddaughters, Katie (Colton) Parris and Elizabeth Lee; great-grandson, Jaxon Parris; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Chaplain K.C. Klarner officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
