Lyle R. Mcintosh, 70, of Gladwin, died Monday, June 29, 1998 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland. Born June 11, 1928 in Gladwin, he was the son of Ray and Beryl Dunning Mcintosh. He lived in Gladwin County all his life and was a member of the Wagarville Community United Methodist Church. Lyle married the former Evelyn Koontz, March 24, 1951 in Gladwin. He retired from the construction business in 1982 as a machinery mover and erector.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Randy and wife Susan of Beaumont, Texas, and Rodney and wife Kathy of Shelby Township; two daughters, Roseyn and husband William R. Hall, and Robyn and husband Altamer Sherman, all of Gladwin; four brothers, Vernon and wife Lydia of Midland, Jim and wife Diane of Flint, Leonard and wife Jill of Rose City, and Tommy and wife Becky of Gladwin; nine sisters, Leola Hude, Nova Jean Adams, Elsie and husband Paul Swinehart, Marcia Mcintosh, and Debbie Mcintosh, all of Gladwin, Vonnie Leeck, Carol and husband John Gower, all of Beaverton, Ella and husband Dale Doyle of Hemlock, and Tharon and husband Rich of Auburn; and nine grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his father, Ray in 1997; his mother Beryl in 1990; and two brothers, Herbert in 1993 and Jerry in 1966.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at the Sisson Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Haskell officiating. Burial will be in McClure Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today (Wednesday) from 2 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
