Leonard McIntosh, age 68, of Gladwin, MI passed away at his home on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015. He was born in Gladwin on Oct. 28, 1947, the son of Ray and Beryl (Dunning) McIntosh.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Path Finders Special Forces and the V.F.W. Post 3775 in West Branch, MI. He had lived in Gladwin County since 2001, previously residing in Rose City, MI and retired as an Electrician from General Motors Powertrain in Bay City in 2004 with 30 years of service.
He is survived by his sons: Michael (Annette) McIntosh and Jason McIntosh both of Gladwin; grandchildren: Alexis, Kelsey, Brandon, Austin, Taylor and Natalie; life partner: Cecilia White of Gladwin; brothers Jimmie McIntosh of Flint and Tom McIntosh of Coleman; sisters: Ella Doyle of Hemlock, Carole Gower of Auburn, Theron Robbins of Auburn and Marcia McIntosh of Coleman; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Teresa McIntosh; brothers: Vernon, Lyle, Herbert, Jerry McIntosh and Judy McIntosh; sisters: Leola Hude, Nova Jean Adams, Elsie Swinehart, Dixie McIntosh, Cindy McIntosh, Vonnie McIntosh and Debbie McIntosh.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor George Coon on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, 11 a.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, MI. The family received friends on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 from 1-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.
