Ella Grace Doyle

Hemlock, Michigan

Passed away Monday, November 16, 2015, on her 78th birthday, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

The daughter of Ray and Beryl (Dunning) McIntosh was born November 16, 1937 in Oil City, Michigan. She married Dale A. Doyle, May 20, 1961. He passed away January 16, 2010. Ella was employed by Hemlock Public Schools for over 20 years. She was an active member of St. John XXII, St. Mary of Hemlock, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed quilting, traveling (especially with her daughter) and most of all, attending her grandchildren’s events.

Surviving are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Jack and Sandra Doyle, Saginaw, MI; Jeff and Tina Doyle, Midland, MI; Lori Doyle, Hemlock, MI; nine grandchildren, Patrick, Kathleen, Kevin, Jamie, Chad, Justine, Brendan, Joshua and Jacob; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Jaxson; three sisters and two brothers, Theron Robbins, Marcia McIntosh, Carole Gower, Jim and Tom McIntosh; her sisters-in-law, Catherine Richnak; Jean and Dale Mikolaiczik; Barbara Caulfield and her friend, Bill Monk; many nieces, nephews, her special friends, Barb, Corrine and Vicki. She was predeceased by 7 sisters and 6 brothers, Nova Jean Adams, Leola Hude, Vonnie Leeck, Elsie Swinehart, Debra, Vernon, Leonard, Herbert, Jerry, Lyle, Cindy, Dixie and Judy McIntosh.

The funeral liturgy will take place at 11 :00 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2015, at St. John XXII, St. Mary in Hemlock, 131 St. Mary Dr. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Hemlock. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday where a vigil service will be held. Friends may then call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral liturgy. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Hemlock Volunteer Firefighters Assoc. Mrs. Doyle’s family wish to thank St. Mary’s 5NPC; Dr. Kala Ramasamy M.D. and Lakha Richardson M.D. and their staff; Renee Dittmar, Jill Loftus and Jennifer Clements for their exception care and concern.
