Hamlin- Service for two area men killed Monday at Alkol, 15 miles east of Hamlin are scheduled for today and Thursday. The two were Alexander (Peckie)Tully, Jr 35 and Albert Roy Adkins, 63, both of Alkol. A leaking gas stove was blamed for the deaths of both men. Services for Mr Tully will be held today at 2 p.m. in Sycamore Grove Baptist Church at Alkol. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park at Hamlin. The body was taken from Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, to the residence of his Parents yesterday. Service for Mr. Adkins will be held tomorrrow at 2 p.m. in Koontz Funeral Home here by the Revs. Woodrow Lawson and Elijah Adkins. Burial will be in Goldsberry Cemetery at Sias.
