Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. May Simpson Harness at her home in Hollywood, Calif. Mrs. Harness was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Simpson. She was born in Sheridan in 1882 and grew to young womanhood here. She was married to Claude Harness of Butte, an experienced mining engineer. About 20 years ago they took up their residence in Los Angeles. Her husband died a few years ago. She is survived by her mother, one sister and two brothers. Of Mrs. Simpson's large family of children, all born in Sheridan, three are all that are still living.
