His son, Thomas Simpson, of Butte has been in attendance at his bedside for two weeks. Mr. Simpson was about 83 years of age and at one time was one of the best blacksmiths in the county. The funeral will be held Friday.

Mrs. Simpson died at the home of her daughter in California a short time ago.* A half sister, Mrs. Peach, who lives in Bozeman, has been confined in a hospital for several weeks.
