Emma was born on January 3, 1933, in Edinburg, the daughter of Lawrence C. and Rhea (Grant) Requarth. She married Raymond F. Thomas on March 16, 1952. She was a homemaker as well as worked for the State of Illinois and for Watts Copy Systems. Emma was a member of the Edinburg Park Board, Edinburg Community Choir, and Trinity Lutheran Church Choir.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; three brothers, Lawrence, Eldon and David; four sisters, Evelyn, Marian, Doris and Carolyn.
Emma is survived by two sons, two daughters, twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one sister, a brother in law, a sister in law, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00PM at Edinburg Cemetery, in Edinburg. Family, friends, and all who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
