David Lee Whenry died in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown, Ohio.

Wife: Nellie Mae Urey, married on Dec. 21, 1963. She died Aug. 9, 2005.
He worked at Cooper Bessemer, aka Cooper Energy in Grove City, for 15 years. He worked construction doing various jobs in that field until his retirement. He was a member of the Richard E. Craft American Legion in Springfield Township, Mercer County. He enjoyed going to his cabin in Tionesta and hunting.
Relatives: a son and daughter-in-law, Roger L. and Carol Urey; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Georgia Whenry, and Dick and Marion Whenry; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty Bell, Jane and Raymond Frankenburg, Norma Priester, and Vonnie and George Urey; and three grandchildren, Nichole Shields and her husband, Ed, Andrew Urey and Danny Vanessa. He was preceded in death by two brothers, George Whenry Jr. and Jimmy Whenry.
