Hubert is the husband of Marie Adele Hoban and the father of Charles Hubert Jr., and Virginia Roach. He is the grandfather of 9.

Surviving are his daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) Sims of Greenville, his son Charles H. Roach Jr. of Lansing; nine grand children, three sisters Miss Helen M. Roach, Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Hansen, Mrs. Edward (Frances) Blakely, one brother Thomas G Roach all of Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews."
Hubert is also the son of Samuel J. Roach and Mary Ellen Mc Evoy and the brother of Elizabeth Whalen, Jerome and Gerald, all of predeceased him.
