"Senior Partner in Law Firm

Services for Thomas G. Roach, senior partner in the local law firm of Roach, Twohey , Maggini & Brady, will be held at 7:30 pm. Tuesday at St. Alphonsus Church, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery.

Mr. Roach, 67, of 2332 Foster Ave. NE, died Sunday night at St. Mary's Hospital.

He graduated from Catholic Central High School and the University of Michigan before receiving his law degrees from the University of Notre Dame in 1934. He was a member of the Grand Rapids Recreation Board in the 1940s and the city's Board of Education in the 1950s. He also was exalted ruler of Elks Lodge No. 48 in 1947.

Besides his wife, Marion, Mr. Roach is survived by four sons, Thomas of West Bloomfield and David, Michael and Terrence of Grand Rapids; two daughters, Mrs. Frederick (Joanne) Tomaszek of Grand Rapids and Mary Kay Roach of East Lansing; three sisters, Helen Roach, Mrs. Edward (Frances) Blakely and Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Hansen, all of Grand Rapids, and 10 grandchildren."

Tom is the son of Samuel J. Roach and Mary Ellen Mc Evoy, and is the brother of Helen, Elizabeth Whalen, Hugh, Frances Blakely, Gerald, Jerome and Dorothy Hansen.
