LaDon Lee Ball, 75, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at King's Retirement Ranch. Mr. Ball was born on December 12, 1945 to Earl Ball and Lois Kilgore Ball.
Mr. Ball is survived by his children, Christy Ball Olivarez (David) and Michelle Brents (Larry); brother, Earl Wesley Ball (Mary Jo); sisters-in-law, Jeanette King and Cathy Putman; grandchildren, Nick, Anthony, Michael, Brittni, Jake, Brooke, Taylor and Walker; several great-grandchildren; and by his beloved dog, Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan Ball; son, Mark Ball; daughter, Brandi Ball; sisters, Maurice Ball and Ruth Helen Ball.
He enjoyed NASCAR, Alabama football (Roll Tide!), naps, fishing with his late brother-in-law, Harold King, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Ball will be Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Larry White officiating.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Ball, Larry Brents, David Olivarez, Doug Ball, Michael Ball, and Steve Halloway.
