The funeral for Patricia Joan Ball, 60, of Athens, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Donald Clem and Rick Craft officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Ball died Friday, November 9, 2007, at home. She was born in Limestone County and was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Don Ball, Athens; mother, Lura Reece Putman, Athens; daughter, Brandi Danyelle Ball Wallace, Athens; step-daughters, Christy Dawn Ball McBride, Louisville, KY, Ladona Michelle Ball Brents, Kansas City, KS; step-son, Mark Anthony Ball, Huntsville; sister, Jeanette Putman King, Toney; brothers, Mike Putman, Goodsprings, Roger Putman, Athens; seven step-grandchildren; and nephew, Heath Putman.
Pallbearers will be Steve Holloway, Harold King, Mark Ball, Heath Putman, Stacy Wallace, Earl Wesley Ball, Larry Brents, and Michael Ball.
Joan was the daughter of Tommie Putman and Lura Reece Putman.
She married LaDon Lee Ball on December 12, 1975.
