Silver Wedding
Officer George E Robinson of the police force was not on the bank watch Thursday night. There was a very excellent reason for his absence. Together with his wife and a party of about thirty friends he was celebrating his silver wedding anniversary at his home, 57 Marcy street. Twenty-five years ago, this tried and true patrolman wedded Miss Sarah A Smart, the ceremony being performed by Rev. John A Goss of the Court street Christian church.
There were two special features about the affair at the Robinson residence on Thursday evening. One was the presentation to the host and hostess of a handsome parlor lamp. The other was the fine supper set out for the guests.
