Patsy Darlene Austin, age 76, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native was born October 12, 1944 and died September 6, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville, TN following and extended illness.

She was an instructor with Pacesetters, a member of the Church of Christ, and the daughter of the late Admiral Dewey and Willie Connie Elizabeth Sanders Slatton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dewey Juanita Slatton and Lady Ruth Veach; and five brothers, Grey Slatton, Jack Slatton, Fletcher Slatton, Jim Slatton, and Billy Joe Slatton.

Ms. Austin is survived by son and daughter-in-law, James (Shelia) Austin of Rock Island, TN; grandson, Matthew Austin of Hendersonville, TN; step-grandson, Joshua Huntley of Mt. Juliet, TN; and step-great-grandchildren, Ava Huntley and Ryan Huntley. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 in High's Chapel with Bill Walkup officiating. Burial will follow in Webb Cemetery in Warren County.
